The European Athletics U20 Championships have arrived in Israel! The European Athletics U20 Championships are one of many important championships events. These biennial championships were first held in 1970 after three editions of the unofficial European Junior Games which started in 1964.
At the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn, Great Britain & NI topped the medal table for the second successive edition with six gold medals ahead of Germany and Ireland who both claimed four titles apiece.
This year, the championships will be held for the first time at the national Givat – Ram Stadium in Jerusalem.
You are invited to watch the championships from the holiest city on earth enjoying the city’s amazing atmosphere and the athletics experience. As a recall, last year U18 Championships were held also in Jerusalem and all our participating teams will be able to enjoy the holy city sites, landscape, and atmosphere. Join us to watch record breaks, establishing athletics standards, and the European Athletics Champions from up close.
The European Athletics U20 Championships is a sporting event for the entire family! The event will take place in ׳Givat - Ram׳ Stadium in Jerusalem between the 7-10 August 2023.
